STEP 1

Complete York Academy & College online Admission Inquiry Form

STEP 2

Upon receiving your online inquiry, York Academy & College Canada will contact you by email and provide you with instructions about how to send in the following documents:

• Completed York Academy & College Canada International Student Application form
• Copies of final report cards from the past two school years
• A copy of the midterm report from the current school year if applicable
• Completed Letter of Recommendation form

STEP 3

York Academy & College Canada will assess your application to determine admissibility after receiving the above documents. You will be notified, by email of acceptance or rejection of your application. If accepted, a phone or Skype interview will be scheduled, a letter of admission will be sent out to you and you will be required to submit payments for your application fees, tuition fees, and any other applicable fees.

STEP 4

Fees may be paid by International Money Order (IMO) or Bank Draft, and should be made payable to York Academy & College Canada.

STEP 5

After receiving your payments, York Academy & College Canada will send you an official Letter of Acceptance, an official fee receipt for your payments, and an official Guardianship Letter, if required. Upon the receipt of York Academy & College Canada’s official documents, you should then proceed to the nearest Canadian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate to apply for your Study Permit.

STEP 6

Please inform York Academy & College Canada when you receive your Study Permit, and provide York Academy & College Canada with information regarding your arrival in Calgary. The following information will be requested from you:

• Name of airline
• Flight number
• Precise dates and time of departure and arrival

STEP 7

York Academy & College Canada will meet you at the airport upon your arrival and transport you to your Canadian Homestay family or your Canadian Guardian's family.

STEP 8

Within two working business days, York Academy & College Canada will arrange for health insurance coverage as well as for formal assessment – English & Mathematics – prior to commencing studies
