York Academy & College’s value proposition, in terms of tuition, is quite appealing and affordable as we continuously are identifying numerous strategies to reduce costs and tuition fees through student bursaries, full scholarships, partial scholarships, and corporate student sponsorship program. Our tuition is extremely bundled competitively in comparison to other private school tuition levels.
York Academy & College “one cost cover all” takes into account the quality of education offered, the expertise of our faculty, adjunct professionals and staff, the mandatory advanced and infuse curriculum: Performing Arts – STREAM – Languages – Communication – Personal Best and Athletics, campus infrastructure, extended school day hours of operation, culture and social immersion, meals and nutrition plans, school uniforms, school trips, athletics uniforms, careers, trades and life skills programs, books and school supplies.
In reality, York Academy & College is less expensive in many ways and due to fact that our services and programs are bundled to reduce costs, decrease commute times, save times, reduce cost of fuel for parents who traditionally are obliged to leave work early, driving to numerous destinations for after school, evening and weekend programs and activities for their children.

Homestay Fee For Out of Province Students Includes:
- Homestay placement fee
- Transportation to and from the airport per school year
- Snacks, meals and lodging for the student for the school year
- Emotional and social support
New Student Fees (one time only and non-refundable)
- Application Fee: $300.00 – to be paid at the start of the application process
- Registration Fee: $2,000.00 – to be paid at the time of acceptance
Activity / Materials Fee: $600
- This fee covers the majority of costs of York Academy & College students' co-curricular programs, computer equipment and software programs, sports and athletes uniform, arts, cultural, social, sciences and technology equipment, musical instrument rental, and the delivery of certain extra-curricular activities and programs throughout the school year.
- This Fee does not include admission fees to specific events, field trips or venues.
English Language Skills Enhancement: $3 700
- Optional after-school course for Academic English Skills: $3,700
- To help improve students’ English language skills in advanced academic setting as well as to prepare them for the international standardized English tests.
Custodianship/Guardianship For Out of Province Students: $500
- All out of Province students who are not living with a parent in Calgary, Alberta must have a custodian/guardian who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- If a student does not have a custodian/guardian, York Academy & College will appoint a custodian for the student
